Abstract

Many systems use proprietary file formats for data storage. In order to analyze this data or to compare it to other data, proprietary software tools must be used which are capable of reading these formats.

However, it is frequently desired to use different tools for the further data processing which have more sophisticated functionality for specific tasks than the tools provided by the system manufacturer.

teConvert has been developed to overcome these boundaries and to allow the sharing of data between applications.

Application

teConvert allows the conversion from and to any data format in order to provide data generated by one system to be loaded by another.

For instance, teConvert combined with the DIAdem- and INCA-filters allows the usage of DIAdem data within INCA and vice versa.

Currently testingsolutions has drivers available for all data formats supported by testeval and teLoad:
  • bdf (testingsolutions),

  • D97 (Bosch),

  • MDF / DAT (INCA, ETAS),

  • DAT (DiaDem, National Instruments),

  • ASAM-ODS (ASAM e.V.),

  • MAT (MATLAB ®, The Mathworks),

  • ASCII (any text format including Meta information)
